Pursuant to the renewed consulting agreement, the Company\u2019s wholly owned, Singapore-based subsidiary Stemcell United Pte Ltd (BP8 Singapore) has engaged Gaia Mariculture as a to manage the BP8 Group\u2019s R&amp;D Programs (Consulting Agreement). <\/p>\n<p><strong>Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li><u>Blockchain technology<\/u>: focus on sourcing and deployment of blockchain technology to facilitate:\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li>biological integrity and sustainability of seaweed cultivation and processing; and<\/li>\n<li>the development of an accreditation methodology for the issue of blue carbon credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><u>Artificial Intelligence technology (AI)<\/u>: Continued focus on AI to enhance critical mineral and nutraceutical identification and extraction<\/li>\n<li><u>Essential Mineral and Nutraceutical extraction<\/u>: Fermentation and Phycomining techniques to unlock essential minerals and nutraceuticals<\/li>\n<li><u>Biohydrogen Extraction<\/u>: Production of biohydrogen\/biogases as a natural by-product of fermentation<\/li>\n<li><u>Commercialisation<\/u>: commercialisation opportunities to drive R&amp;D strategies<\/li>\n<li><u>Consultancy Agreement Renewed<\/u>: two (2) year agreement with Gaia Mariculture<\/li>\n<li><u>Expanded R&amp;D role<\/u>: Gaia to conduct R&amp;D and to oversee out-sourced R&amp;D projects <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>Consulting Agreement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pursuant to the Consulting Agreement, Gaia Mariculture will provide:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li><strong>Out-sourced Research<\/strong>, being the R&amp;D that has been or will be outsourced by or on behalf of the BP8 Group to a third party to be conducted by that party under the supervision of Gaia; and.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-house Research<\/strong>, being the R&amp;D to be undertaken directly by Gaia. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Out-sourced Research comprises the following services which the BP8 Group is seeking to out-source to third parties:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li><strong>Sourcing, development and deployment of Blockchain technologies<\/strong>: sourcing, development and\/or acquisition of blockchain technologies and their deployment to:\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li>provide biological integrity and traceability and to promote sustainable farming of seaweed; and<\/li>\n<li>enable the measurement of carbon capture and storage by seaweeds to facilitate the creation of an accreditation scheme for the issue of blue carbon credits;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI Genetic Algorithm<\/strong>: continued development of an AI generated genetic algorithm to enable machine determination of variations in seaweed genomes to be applied to seaweed breeding and gene editing;<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI-enhanced extraction<\/strong>: development and deployment of AI driven imaging technology to further enhance essential mineral identification and isolation so as to increase the effectiveness of phyto-hydrometallurgical techniques to extract essential minerals from seaweed; and<\/li>\n<li><strong>Additional scope<\/strong>: any additional or related service relating to a project outsourced to a third party reasonably requested by the BP8 Group and agreed by Gaia from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Click here for the full ASX Release<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div>This post appeared first on investingnews.com<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Board of BPH Global Ltd (ASX: BP8) (Company), is pleased to advise the re-appointment of Gaia Mariculture Pte Ltd (Gaia Mariculture) as the manager of the Company\u2019s research and development programs (R&amp;D Programs).
